Auto Repair Centers Association (ARCA), our mission is to empower independent automotive repair shop owners with the advanced systems, leadership training, and collective bargaining power they need to outperform corporate chains. We believe that local, independent businesses are the backbone of the American automotive industry, and we are dedicated to ensuring they remain competitive, profitable, and technologically advanced.

Going Forward

The Auto Repair Centers Association (ARCA) continues to improve its programs, add new ones based on member input, and expand its network of independent repair shops across the United States.

How We Got Here

Michael Breitzke has had the opportunity to build several businesses over the span of his 50-year business career. After retiring, Michael became bored, missing the challenge of helping businesses grow so he decided to accept a position with a national auto parts company servicing Independent Auto Repair Shops. During that time, he had the opportunity to see firsthand the struggles they were facing. 

A year after his departure from that position, he was thinking about some of his Shop Owners and decided that he wanted to help them.  That became the development of the Auto Repair Centers Association.
